the Pokémon Go news is very on the nose for just how bleak and evil the American Empire is. a lot of people (myself included) have cited Pokemon Go Summer in 2016 as the last time things really felt good or hopeful here. and it was all leading to this. I’m sick of every aspect of life ending up here

also calling Pokemon Go a “free” app is a little bit disingenuous. I stopped playing when they released Gen II without additional storage space for Pokémon. you had to either grind at gyms to get coins to upgrade storage or pay and I didn’t live near any gyms at the time. people paid money for this
