this is true. the last two years our teaching staff has been decimated, esp our arts. our arts staff is cut by 60% from what it was 2 years ago.
theater is gone. we have no one to staff drama club, even tho we have program funds, the district is not willing to pay union educators to advise.

Someone in an MPS facebook group did the math and the position cuts are all at schools that primarily serve students of color, especially over north, and the ones gaining positions are all whiter schools over south.
