balancing the MPS budget is always done on the backs of Black students on the Northside, this year is no exception, so fucking sick of it.
i look forward to learning more about how the 3 southside candidates for school board will govern differently & how they plan on truly engaging the Northside.

While I'm glad that the district was able to come up with a budget for the next year, I continue to be troubled by the way the budgeting process has been conducted. I look forward to providing additional targeted oversight of the budgeting process & building the stability our community deserves.
