Growing complexity and urgency in calls for assistance to Help and Kindness' Dorset Community Response service
Help and Kindness' Dorset Community Response service is experiencing a rapidly growing number of increasingly complex requests from people facing multiple challenges, including poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse, carer exhaustion, food insecurity and difficulties accessing support services. Our small team works with individuals, families, professionals and community organisations to find practical, local solutions tailored to each person's circumstances. The stories and feedback we receive highlight the difference this support can make, but rising demand means we are looking for ways to expand our capacity and reach more people across Dorset who need help, guidance and connection to local support.
