Happy New Year all! Managed to actually do a self-portrait by the end of the year that I was happy with. It only took 10 months.
As you can see, there were quite a few practise runs and failed attempts, but I ended up with something big and different.

Big news. It's been sunny this week. I painted outside.
Anyway, this isn't from that but I did it on stream a few weeks ago and not sure I showed anyone else so here you all are.

Grabbed my big brush recently and tackled an A4 size painting in the same way I do my trading card sized ones.
Here's Isabelle Adjani and Sam Neill brining with emotion in oil paint.
Painted a sketch from my favourite of the Best Picture nominated movies at the Oscars this year, Sentimental Value.
Of course to pick a favourite I had to watch and rank them all. I also wrote a baby review for each.
Overall not a strong year in my opinion, but still some enjoyable films.
