Energetic rehearsal last night, & two birthdays to sing for in the break (two different improvisations and in different keys!) A joy to revisit Parry's I Was Glad which is our concert theme. Tickets on sale at the Minack Box Office.
Our conductor James and his fellow Truro Cathedral organists Andrew and Alfie are running the Rame Head half-marathon tomorrow to raise funds for the cathedral’s music. The phrase trio for organ has a new meaning! See www.gofundme.com/f/support-tr...
A nice bright morning for our conductor James and his colleagues Andrew & Alfie to do their fundraising run for Truro Cathedral music. Wishing them luck: chons da oll! www.gofundme.com/f/support-tr...
So lovely to see our former conductor, David Briggs, at rehearsal this evening. He’s revisiting old haunts, as it were, having accompanied the silent film The Phantom of the Opera on the Truro Cathedral organ last Saturday. Thanks for coming to see us, David!
Online ticket sales open today via the Minack Box Office for our concert on 4th July. The ideal way to spend a summer evening!

Have just updated our banner with details of our forthcoming summer concert, I Was Glad. Parry enthusiasts will be expecting a certain anthem and you will not be disappointed! Here is the poster with fuller details of the range of composers in our programme. Tickets on sale next week.
We've had a lovely compliment from John Nettles, distinguished stage & screen actor. He attended our last concert and has emailed us to say: "It was deeply moving, musically entrancing and altogether a thing of surpassing beauty." Meur ras, thanks John. Do come again! (published with permission).
It’s not quite Easter Sunday but hopefully not too soon to share Easter Greetings: Pask Lowen Oll! And a special welcome to Cornwall for the St Endellion Spring Festival, launching today with a Come & Sing event.

Our rehearsal is now discussing treacle as part of a Cornish winter drink. With gin, apparently. I’m not clear how this relates to Rutter’s Psalm 150… which is what we are rehearsing. All part of Kernow’s rich culture!
