As a New Orleanian and fan of our local basketball team, it’s easy to feel proximal pride for him. Imagine all the Puerto Rican Day Parades he went to growing up, then he beat all the odds, got to the NBA, and contributed to a champion team. And now he’s riding in the Parade, being celebrated. 🥲
