And it seems to me this is...better? For everybody? I learned things about games while playing and thinking about Inkwell. D.V.C.'s response suggests that my response may also lead to their own realizations and thoughts.
Can't get good pull quotes from people who make writing their life's work. Send an ARC to some randos on social media who are certain to gush. That's fine. Just don't be surprised when your products don't improve, and when the whole of the culture is poorer for it.
This is a really fair assessment- Inkwell does sit between a lot of inspirations, and that seems to create an interesting divide for those that love it and those that donโ€™t. Itโ€™s great as a game because it is so loved by our own crew, but also a learning experience- how art interacts with the world.

The entire contemporary information and marketing economy is based around being able to cultivate and control who sees your product. Make a shitty movie? That's fine. Just invite people who are professional fanboys and girls to your screening. They'll cover it and be thrilled to do so.
