The publics of western democracies have an unfavourable view of Israel, most at 70% or more.
Yet, in these same "democracies", such as the UK, the vast majority of politicians actively support aiding Israel's continuing genocidal slaughter in Gaza.
Once upon time the BBC was the first to accuse anyone who suggested that Israel controlled the US of antisemitism.
Interestingly, here is Sarah Smith, the BBC's North America editor, twice stating that Trump may only think he is calling the shots with Netanyahu.
Iran's chief calculation in attacking Israel is to call Trump's bluff.
Israel will grow increasingly vulnerable unless the US steps in.
Trump has a choice: put Israel back in its box and engage properly in talks, or show he was never serious about reaching a deal.
