Proposing the QUERY HTTP verb. The url query strings are safe up to 8k are usually logged. POST request aren’t idempotent.

I think it’s unfortunate to wait for restart. I can keep my IDE open for days, weeks. I think the kill switch should at least have some kind of "critical popup” that advise the user to immediately restart due to malign plugins.
