Public support for Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's Cabinet fell by 5.1 percentage points from the previous month to 54.3% in June, a monthly survey by Jiji showed.
According to the June survey, the proportion of respondents who did not support the Cabinet rose by 2.5 points to 22.2%.
