Sorry for the silence. Been a crazy, whirlwind week, but not in a bad way for once. Saw one of my favourite people in person, and it made me reconsider some of my goals and priorities in life. When I get back this afternoon, after I crash and take a nap, I’m figuring out some changes…

Well… damn… that moment you’ve paid a decent looking artist… and then they finally send you a sketch of this perfect idea you had, but something doesn’t smell right. So you look closer and you realise it’s traced…

And then they give the song and dance that they’ve been caught when asked…
Again, nothing bad. I just have a lot I want and need to do… and I must lock in, as the kids would say. So getting that on track is a big deal for me. Just off of preliminary muddling, it will result in some changes with how I manage and use my time. I’ll get into this way more on stream tomorrow…
So… after waiting for an hour for the agent and being accosted by some belligerent Travelers in that time, he decided to just throw on another $200.
I’m so humbled and thankful, y’all. This sets my budget back to what it was before the unexpected and horrid $600 license plate bill this past week.

For the record, this isn’t me saying I don’t want to, or I’ll never get art with friends. This is me expressing my frustrations with those who just want to use me for their selfish ends.
I want to get art with the folks I care about as tokens of our mutual care and friendship. That’s all. 💗
