A similar effect may be happening here: just appearing first in the journal webpage could boost the citation count.
I'd be happy if colleges would at least flunk STEM majors who don't understand basic statistics...

I am so excited about this: We are doing a new kind of project with the aim of transporting knowledge and methods from the humanities into a natural science context.
