I finally got my Ace Combat 8 Preview from Summer Game Fest 2026 posted. Honestly, I don't feel it does the game justice. I love the series, and I only had a short time with the game, but I did my best here. Enjoy!

Here's everything I learned during that Phantom Blade Zero Summer Game Fest hands-off experience....
You know, being invited to these gaming events is something that my younger self could never imagine. I grew up with E3 and hearing all those cool stories from managers from Electronic Boutique and other places brag about all the fun they had at the event. And now, I get to do that.
It does stick that I only attended 1 E3, but it was definitely memorable and I'll never forget it. Meanwhile, I get to check out other things like Summer Game Fest and others, and it's a blast. The only thing that stinks is trying to work that around my actual job and family.
Be safe out there New York. Don't be going out there doing something crazy.
Still, I wouldn't miss doing what I do (outside my job) for anything... well, almost anything. It's so damned fun. Stressful at times, but fun. But also, getting to speak with like-minded people, who are also having the time of their lives. It's good stuff.
