Elon Musk is the problem, not X and not Jeremy Hunt. AI could stop any post inciting violence or disorder before anyone reads it. Ownership and regulation of social media require urgent action that can only be achieved by governments working together, e.g., the UK and the EU as a start.

You missed the point. University students and women are the most likely to be positive about transgender issues. If the most favourable group can only muster 50% support, it's hardly a ringing endorsement, nor is the trend over time.

The thing that is striking here is that he picekd the wrong lesson. He's right to say politicians have got to stick by their campaign promises. But the lesson is so dont make stupid ones.
