Almost finished on my latest personal project... coming next week maybe? Probably poorly timed but here's a look:
It’s entirely possible to know exactly where you’d likely go with a story/novel/script/adaptation and for that not to be commissioned and so you don’t write it. Doesn’t mean anyone has been misled. Doesn’t mean anyone ‘lied’. It just didn’t happen.
If I were in charge? Whatever the next ep is starts with 10 mins of Piper trying to settle in the regeneration before we flash through other companions' faces as the Doctor tries to settle through an unstable regeneration, before landing on a new face at the end of the episode, ready for a new run.
My ideal scenario is the BBC just take anyone who worked on Big Finish’s 11th and 12th Doctor Adventures series and puts them in a writers’ room for Doccy Who
