Belo Sun is strictly operating in Brazil, the other 3 heavy hitters are doing/did harm in other countries, those are just the biggest crimes! And that's a few of so many Canadian owned companies doing great harm. Lots of poisoning, brutality, murder, rape, displament, from their projects/hired guns
What Barrick Gold did in Argentina, Belo Sun did in Brazil, Hudbay did in Guatemala, First Quantum did in Panama are only scratching the surface. Some of this is ongoing, or these places are still feeling the effects.
And no this aint some defense of the US, just that I've been researching this for 15+ years and wrote about this in high school, it is way worse now! That was like 14 years ago I wrote the paper.
Was talking about the Great Lakes Tunnel Project and started getting destructive Canadian extractavist companies mixed up because there's so many.
