I had an Israeli supplier 15 years ago and have been getting their newsletter since. A month ago they started spamming deals, new items, even a 30% discount on silver findings. They seriously think it's only about the high silver price? I unsubscribed today, btw. (Photo taken three weeks ago.)

I import and sell silver findings for a living. It's true that the silver price has been disgustingly high since mid November, but there are other (obvious) reasons why I stopped buying from Israel about 15 years ago. I was hesitant even the few times I bought from them.
Now I understand why cuckoo clocks are a thing. It's 3 AM and a cuckoo just went off somewhere nearby. It's very loud and insistent. Being kept awake by a bird seems to be my thing now. Here's some sedum I photographed the other day.
For disclosure, I've introduced a handful of the tall plants myself, but they're native species planted from seeds that I've harvested in the wild locally. I don't have the patience to wait until they move in on their own.

Some would call it a weed in their lawn, I call it "at least it's greener than the moss, and has flowers as a bonus". #ColorADay #YellowThur #bloomscrolling #bloomsky 🌱
I counted a dozen different plant species in our lawn, not counting grass and moss. Adding the borders and "islands" that we leave taller or uncut, we triple the number. Doing our tiny bit for biodiversity. 🌱 #TuesdayBlue #ColorADay #BlueTue #Bloomscrolling #Bloomsky #Biodiversity
I haven't been posting much lately, too much to do in the garden. I'm showing my garden to some people next week. I was aiming for the peony's usual blooming time, but of course it decided to start a week early. It only lasts a week. #MagentaMonday #ColorADay #PinkMon #bloomscrolling #bloomsky
I wanted to take a closeup photo of a foxglove, but found this guy instead. #InsectThursday #macro #bloomscrolling #bloomsky 🌱
Everyone has told me this is Rosa spinosissima ’Plena’ (Midsummer rose/Finland's white rose) except one lady in our garden society who said she didn't think it is. She didn't say what else it could be, so does anyone here have an opinion? #RoseWednesday #bloomscrolling #rose #gardening 🌱

I was upset because our neighbours were playing loud music late at night on their patio and I had to go ask them to turn it down. Then I read the feed about the FIFA and Trump ridiculousness. Now I'm not as upset with our neighbours. Here are some azalea flowers. #Bloomscrolling #Bloomsky #azaleas
