I did a thing. I told the truth about data centers—the energy, the water, the jobs, the subsidies, and the lack of transparency. It cost me an endorsement. But I stand by every word. I’m the same person knocking on your door as I am behind closed doors. www.wweek.com/news/busines...
How can anyone say no to those mesmerizing eyes? Oliver specializes in crashing Zoom meetings, demanding breakfast on his schedule, and tracking birds from window to window like it’s his full-time job.
My name is Nick Walden Poublon and I’m running to represent Oregon’s 52nd district in the State House! I’m an educator by day who sees the funding woes our schools face first hand. I also understand that affordability isn’t just a buzz word but a serious concern! www.NWPforOregon.com
I clearly remember the night that Trump won the first time. The disgust, the disbelief and the overwhelming feeling I was going to spend the next decade or more of my life fighting back against the damage done that very moment. And so it has gone — but no one can say I stayed silent.
I’m back. I’ve been away while running for office, and afterward I struggled w/ how to engage with the looming ugliness of this administration without letting it consume me. But retreat isn’t really my style. I’m back—paying attention, speaking up & continuing to fight for the values that matter.
I’m an openly gay man running for office in rural Oregon and here’s the thing — I’m going to turn this district blue. I lost to the Republican Minority Leader in my state by 3.4% in 2024. He’s not running for re-election. We can do this but I need your help. www.NWPforOregon.com

I grew up in rural Oregon, on a dairy farm. I know what it means to get up early, work hard, and depend on your community to get the job done. If you believe we need steady, practical leadership in HD52 — chip in $20.26. 👉🏻https://secure.actblue.com/donate/teamnwp

I want to live in a world where, when you’re sick, we give you the time and the resources to actually get better. That’s what I’m working toward.

Nick Walden Poublon told WW that he “stepped in it” while seeking the endorsement of the Oregon State Building and Construction Trades Council.
