This post is getting a lot of shit in the comments, but I think it's broadly correct. Most cyberpunk lit is closer to Twisted Sisters' "We're Not Going to Take It" then Conflict's "This is not Enough".
It's subcultural rebellion, but it's not revolution. Largely individualistic and nihilistic.

Full disclosure: I am not as well read on cyberpunk lit as I should be, I've read a lot of the classics and some of the more modern stuff, and a decent amount of proto- and post-, and all the 90s era cheese
Almost none of it is transparently didactic "fight the corps" or even anti-cap.
