Today I’ve done a nice big dinner as we have a family member staying (and welcome). After a long day at work, I am now exhausted. And yet I have plans for the next two nights too. And on campus days too. Will cope. Somehow. It’s good to have nice things to do, and people to see! #JuicyJune #Day15

I came back to being an avid book reader about 8 years ago maybe. After being distracted with things online (& admittedly preoccupied with young children) it was so good to come back to it. What helped me was finding a new author I was gripped by, which lead to others. Then I’ve prioritised reading.

Today with longish journeys on the train (which I enjoy) I enjoyed seeing family, and watching and listening to the younger ones play. Lovely to see them engrossed. #JuicyJune #Day14
I have just finished my big reread (over the past year nearly) of The Enemy series by Charlie Higson. My son and I have both been rereading, me a book behind him. It is such an amazingly crafted series of 7 books. (Post-)Apocalypse London. Children. Ensemble cast. The End. I want more.
