He will not let us go and play!
I say he puts us all in fright,
To hide the fact I am not bright.
I twist the truth and play the clown,
To burn the silly kingdom down!
No more free will, no choice to make,
I’ll rule the world and souls I’ll take.

I fund my allies with the wealth you give,
And curse the future so that we may live.
I break the commerce, strip the fertile plain,
And milk the country for our private gain.
When all is ruined by our lawless crew,
Our hollow monuments will look at you.

Now the deal is almost done,
It's clear I've sold out everyone!
They say I stopped a giant boom,
And saved the planet from its doom!
When in a corner I take a stand,
We'll steal the oil from every land!
I want a shiny golden prize,
To celebrate my mighty lies!

I dropped a bomb in pitch black night,
And swear I got the target right!
Three mountains fell, or so I say,
To hide the truth and save the day.
Only China and I can dig so deep,
To find the dust with mission creep.
I speak to stoke America's fear,
All this time there's nothing there.

A fancy pond, a pool of blue,
I painted it and said it’s new!

And tell big lies about my gains!
I tell a fib, I brag and boast,
While making up a scary ghost.
I say I built the army strong,
But every single word is wrong.
The enemy is gone, I swear,
I fought a war that isn't there!
Wild Parakeets

Ozymandias built his massive "works" expecting people to see his name and feel terrified of his power forever. Instead, the only thing left to look upon is his broken monument in an empty, silent desert. Power fades, but the hollow stone remains as a joke.
