Concerned. This is a snapshot of an oxeye daisy plant; I have never seen so many bumblebees on 1 plant (6 in total). In my garden, I rarely see a bumblebee on them as there are better choices. For me this demonstrates a lack of resource in the area. I must do my thing at the RAU!

Add cherry laurel to the list of invasive plants banned from sale and planting in the UK. Launch a strategy to tackle the spread of this invasive exotic shrub across our natural environment.
More footage of Silver-studded Blue larva being attended by ants on Studland Heath. Here you can clearly see the pair of tentacle organs being extruded every now and then from its rear end. Seems to be signalling ‘follow me’ @dorsetbutterflies.bsky.social @savebutterflies.bsky.social
