I had an N64 ordered on launch but it went on backorder so I got it a few weeks later, and for some reason I was not that interested in Mario 64, but I was in Shadows of the Empire. So in the interim I got Mortal Kombat Trilogy.

Steve Corino might be an evil person who works for an evil company but as one of the original Tommy Dreamer haters I hope he feels some joy this week and tells all of the evil people at the WWE Performance Center about how Tommy Dreamer tried to sabotage and scam him.
I did not get Mario 64 until years later and thought Banjo Kazooie was much better during that era. I played so much Shadows of the Empire and Wave Race that the launch window was a great time for me even with that quirk.
