Inching closer towards final assembly. The hooves and legs are all done. Next will be the leg membranes, followed by the tail and neck. 🪡🧵🧶🐎
All the hoof bottoms are attached, and I'm working on adding everything, that goes into each hoof; plastic plate to keep the bottom flat, foam padding to prevent the plastic beads from making the hooves look all lumpy. I've finished one leg, and am very happy with the joining of the stripes. 🪡🧵🧶🐎
Very happy, that I was able to match the colors of the muzzle very closely to the reference sheet. 🪡🧵🧶🐴
So much fluff! The mane turned out slightly bigger than planned, but the OC has a lot of hair, so should be all good. I had to extend the tail piece, as it would have looked pretty scrawny by comparison. I wish my camera would do a better job of picking up the lavender color though. 🪡🧵🧶🐴
Tambo won the popular vote across platforms, with Bruno coming in second. I've started on a commission, and Tambo is being very helpful, as I try to figure out how to make the mane longer. 🪡🧵🧶🐴

Everything is sewn, and the primal dun is finally ready for stuffing! Time for floppy stage photos, then I'll need to come up with a name (and find a home). 🪡🧵🧶🐎
"Primal dun" is finally done! He's made from 232 pieces and took 76 hours to make. I still haven't figured out what to name him. I'm looking for something short but old sounding, and I've come up with a list of five names: Bruno, Julius, Loki, Remus and Tambo. Which name would you pick? 🤔🪡🧵🧶
Super excited about seeing the legs all done. Before I can get to that stage, I need to make the feet though. 🪡🧵🧶🐎
