- we hit them viciously. If they don’t make a deal, we’ll bomb the shit out of them tomorrow.
- we control the Strait
- Iran must open the Strait
- we’re gonna take over Kharg Island and their oil
Embarrassing.
If true, I have serious concerns about this being a war crime.
Under the laws of armed conflict:
Proportionality: the military advantage has to outweigh the anticipated civilian harm.
Hard to see what military advantage would outweigh robbing 20k people of drinking water.

If this turns into all-out war again, I fear that we’re going to find out that Iran is better prepared this time. I hope I’m wrong.

Iran’s military, who we’ve ‘completely obliterated’ — or left untouched — depending on the day you ask Trump, shot down an Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump said deal possible in 2-3 days.
Now Trump says we’ll attack Iran.
