Following the shameful decision of NHS England to forcibly detransition trans kids under the care of Brighton WellBN Good Law Project is funding gender affirming private healthcare for at least 10 young trans people whose treatment has been withdrawn and whose financial need is greatest.
This week, the families of trans kids receiving gender-affirming care at a Brighton medical practice were notified that their children’s treatment would be withdrawn in a matter of weeks.

This is enabled by institutions treating our rights as expendable and not worth fighting for. When major politicians, hospitals, and other institutions signal that it's okay to toss us under the bus to serve their own needs, it tells others that they can also do so.
Anyone who is this obsessed with trans people existing is almost certainly suffering from serious depression and probably other serious mental health issues. I hope Ben gets the help he deserves.

Well that's a real shame
Doctors love to deny trans people necessary surgeries for reasons of size. While there is some evidence to back up increased danger at higher BMIs, this does need to be balanced against the needs and autonomy of an individual. Certainly no one should be forced to lose weight in order to get surgery.
