I’m afraid of the future as fascist mobs operate not only with impunity but with powerful support. I’m afraid of their violence. But I’m a white man - how much more frightening is it this morning to be black, brown or Jewish in the U.K.? My thoughts are with my neighbours.

Everyone on X and elsewhere who called for a violent response should be charged with incitement.
Everyone involved in the pogrom should be locked up with exemplary sentences.
Govt should make it clear that will be the response in future anywhere else.
