I, too, am a thief.
I have stolen -
from family
friends
& lovers:
I have stolen laughter
stolen their jokes
(stolen a few kisses)
mainly,
I stole their time
occasionally
I returned a few moments
with interest
but more often than not,
I wasted those
moments
and left them
a crumpled
