I can’t imagine being member of an academic society that expels the Editor-in-Chief of its flagship journal from its annual meeting for handing out an editorial he cowrote in that journal. Disgraceful actions by the leadership of the @amdiabetesassn.bsky.social.

From now on my response to manuscript reviews will be:
“Reviewer 3 requested evidence to support my hypothesis. It’s impossible to prove but everyone knows instinctively something is going on.”
