Everyone is normalizing lawless authoritarianism by lazily writing this in all the articles. You can't expect politicians to care about following the law, the constitution, & our treaties when you completely ignore them in how you cover what the politicians do once they're in office.

Again, the comparisons to the JCPOA - a painstakingly negotiated & signed agreement between 7 countries, crafted by actual US diplomats instead of nepotistic cronies & family of the president - are borderline obscene & further normalization of personalist authoritarianism:

So it seems kinda problematic that:
— Iran is circulating at least 3 different versions of this peace deal.
—The US can’t seem to cough up even one version, even though it’s supposedly just 1.5 pages long.
— The architects of the deal are Witkoff and Kushner.
