Gentle reminder that if you take any kind of ADHD meds are you more prone to heatstrokes and/or other heat related/induced medical issues. Also your heart rate increases and your mouth gets dry quicker, so you need to consume even more water/fluids than before.Please be careful out there in the heat
This crisis lasts, it’s not something physical life threatening but it’s mentally very taxing and challenging for both of us, it affects me to an unforeseen high degree as well so I have to deal w/it now personally as well as support my sister in it 💔So I hope you’ll excuse my absence from here atm…
I want to say a huge, huge thank you for enjoying the pride prompts, for sharing your characters, their stories and your art about them. I love to see everyone supporting each other, it’s just so beautiful to have a virtual pride like this w/you! It makes me so happy and I don’t take it for granted!
P.S. I know that other kinds of meds/prescription drugs are also sensitive to heat/makes the person who takes them more vulnerable to said issues but I’m not taking them myself and don’t want to spread false knowledge. Please check how your meds act in summer and how you should act!
