I fear that, in order for the US & Israel to avoid further retaliation & humiliation by Iran, they may see the use of a nuclear weapon as the only way to hide the weaknesses Iran revealed & reestablish a position of strength that’s clearly dwindling. A dying empire has no limits.
There’s nothing like looking at the list of those who got tenure and realizing that your publication record is stronger than most of them yet you’re the one who was denied tenure. So much for the meritocracy administrators love to defend.
