Saddest possible outcome for a bookseller with an expansive esoteric collection who is facing eviction. He's walking dogs for money, teaches unhoused kids, and wants the books in the right hands but needs money. Also has brain damage from getting beaten 6 years ago. Of course the vultures swoop in.

Decided to try doing a more painted style background-ish, but I don't have much practice with techniques like that atm.
People keep comparing this stuff to being carded but the guy that glances at your ID before you walk into the club doesn't keep a permanent record of your card, time of entry, and everything you do and say while inside, that is then passed over to the government and a billion data brokers
