📰 EXC: Our survey results revealed the devastating scale of under-funding across social care in all parts of the UK. Social workers are once again sounding the alarm on services that are creaking at the seams under the heavy weight of demand and thread-bare funding.
BASW has serious concerns about the use of systems developed by companies where there are concerns about ethical practice, such as Palantir. 📲 We support innovation where it genuinely improves outcomes but social work must remain a human profession centred on care, relationships & social justice.
