Great news that the Windrush Untold Stories exhibition will be celebrated in Parliament tomorrow.
I agree with its organiser that Windrush Generation’s contribution deserves greater national recognition and reflection.
As one of a number of MPs who can claim Roy Hattersley as a predecessor (boundary changes) I was sad to hear todays news. I remember being under tables as a small child in meetings with him, or in campaign committee rooms where he let us go on the loud hailer. Birmingham salutes his service.
