“Scots discovering tailgating” could be a real Prometheus stealing fire moment
There had to be a way to do this without depriving young people of their freedoms.
"In Europe, we spend €1bn to monitor space for asteroids, even if the actual risk of a civilisation-ending asteroid strike is close to zero.
But governments don’t commit to spend a fraction of that amount to adequately monitor a threat that is more imminent, more likely, and located here on Earth"

Sources say hardline measures will also prevent young users from being to talk to strangers on gaming apps
So Farage will be breaking the Brexit agreement with the EU, this is pure evil
Many pro astrophysicists receive unsolicited letters from amateurs with new but subtly wrong physics theories, often about relativity and from retired engineers. This cute new paper is a perfect reply & I love how it uses cyclotrons & transponders & radar 🧪🔭 arxiv.org/abs/2605.21660
I really do loathe Labour for the harm they are causing marginalised communities. Their xenophobic anti-immigration policies are destroying lives. For many affected it doesn't matter in practice whether Reform or Labour are in power. Their lives are ruined either way.

The sharp rise in youth inactivity since the pandemic corresponds very closely to the deterioration in young people’s health since 2019.
In 2019, 14 per cent of 18-24-year-olds said they had a long-term health condition
which limits their activity; by 2025 this had risen to 21 per cent.
Amoc collapse could change Europe’s climate 10x faster than expected. We aren’t ready
I just spent a week driving a gasoline-powered rental car, my first time operating a non-EV in three years. If we’d all been driving EVs for a century, and the gasoline car was just invented, it would be a total flop. These things suck.
