Their star player, Jerry Balogun, scored two great goals.
Balogun was born in New York in 2001. His parents were both Nigerian and were visiting the US from their home in London…
…but couldn’t fly home because his pregnant mother was deemed unsafe to fly by the airline. So he was born here.
Now, 24 years later, he’s scoring goals for the US National team.
