To me gender abolition is just transphobia with a woke coat of paint. It's a lot of people whose obsession with wanting to be "Gender fucky" and different being mad at trans women for wanting to be comfortable in our own skin. It's repackaged misogyny and so-called progressives keep falling for it.

Transmedicalism still means “gatekeeping people from trans healthcare if they don’t conform to hyper specific gender norms/jump through hoops” but now it’s mostly used to refer to “trans person talking about how you should try HRT” or “trans woman talking about transmisogyny”

This "you don't have to want to transition to be trans" validity crap doesn't benefit anyone but cissexuals who want to pose as trans to feel subversive. It keeps actual trans people in the closet and stops them from doing genuine self-analysis
