If you missed it, read my investigation into Sea Forest's operations for @drilledmedia.bsky.social after I learned it had imported significant quantities of pure chemical bromoform at a time when it was advertising its products as being produced wholly from ocean-grown seaweed.
Sea Forest embodied the promise of green capitalism: grow seaweed, solve climate, get rich. It appears the company was playing with a stacked deck.
