Drawing the last page in this sketchbook and listening to Stereolab on vinyl. I saw the mail go by so I may walk the dog to the mailbox. It’s pretty muggy though.
Now I’m drawing a goblin. I think his name is Gaspar. He’s meek and retiring and young for a goblin.
I think this drawing is done. I’ll post a better picture tomorrow. I should probably try to sleep. I’m topping out at 5 hours a night lately and I may be losing my marbles.
I turned down a contract for a graphic novel yesterday. I guess that really means I’m not gonna do comics right now. Unfortunately middle grade chapter books seem to be drowning as well.
Still drawing this guy and still listening to the new Boards of Canada album.
Got the dishes on and I cleaned the bathroom etc. now I’m setting up some drawings to work on during the day while I’m also writing. I’m focusing on refining character designs for my story.
The Laundress of the Sunken Palace. She’s a character from a story I’m writing. She does the laundry.
Trying to revive a sad purple rose I got yesterday.
Not worth watching.
Listening to Glenn Gould play Bach. Great for evening drawing sessions.
