a friend of mine was a IDF medic in the first invasion of Lebanon when his unit was bombed by the IDF airforce, killing several of them. this is not a sign of the IDF secretly conspiring to attack itself or being unusually incompetent; it is something that happens in war.

Blue on blue happens a LOT in war, and nobody wants to talk about it because no one wants to say to a grieving family "your loved one was not a heroic martyr for the nation, they were killed by a friendly or an ally due to misidentification or simple incompetence."

Eyewitness testimonies during war suck all the time, there are numerous records from the battle of lützen that swear they saw top generals on enrmy sides fight it out hand to hand.
There was no visibility during that battle, they couldn't have seen anything from 10 am onward
Next year will be the 60th anniversary of the original episode of "if you find the eyewitness testimonies of the survivors more credible than the official (internally disputed) statements of the US and Israeli governments, it means you obviously hate Jews and believe Nazi conspiracies"
