listening to experimental solo piano by various artists all day thanks to Ethan's most recent post (warmup the bandcamp account). humans can still do unpredictable things with this traditional instrument!
Nobody else but (or like) him: Dave McKenna - #botd 1930 He often zeroed in on lesser-known 1940s songs and made them new. I was lucky enough to hear and see him play "3-handed saloon piano" a couple of times in small Toronto venues. He was great, of course.🎶 www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZKK...
