We were pleased to support the #Yemeni Ministry of Local Administration in convening a national conference on partnership & integration between central government & local authorities in #Aden, under the patronage of Prime Minister Shaya al-Zindani & President of Leadership Council Rashad Al Alimi.
The conversation centred on building a National Insider Peacebuilders Network, to shape participatory, community-driven approaches to reconciliation and social cohesion.

Discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between the central government and local authorities, including clearer coordination mechanisms, improved resource allocation and advancing administrative and financial decentralisation.
Across #Lebanon, communities are navigating displacement, uncertainty and everyday tensions.
Under the #IMPACT project, we are working with insider mediators and community actors to support locally led responses to displacement-related tensions.
Our #Somalia programme team met with Director General Abdulkadir Ali, Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs & Reconciliation, Federal Government of Somalia officials and @undp.org to discuss strengthening coordination around #Somalia’s peacebuilding and mediation efforts.
