Bookselling Ireland (the Booksellers Association (BA) in Ireland) is delighted to announce details of some fantastic events that will be taking place in independent bookshops throughout the country to celebrate Independent Bookshop Week 2026, now in its 20th year. Running from Saturday 13th to Saturday 20th June, and supported by headline sponsor Hachette UK alongside NielsenIQ BookData and Gardners Books, Independent Bookshop Week 2026 will once again celebrate the vital role independent bookshops play in championing reading for pleasure, supporting local communities, and connecting readers with books, authors and ideas.
