Agreed. People are way too invested in the box office and especially dumb when people hope a type of film dies despite others liking it (seriously, people are way too invested hating The Mandalorian and Grogu and Masters of the Universe).

I'm so tired of this toxic obsession with box office numbers.
Nothing wrong with being happy that a movie you liked is successful, but don't be a dick about it.
And I think it matters more if YOU enjoyed the movie.
