On Thursday April 23rd, I will be talking about how I am using neurons of the spinal cord of zebrafish to understand the development of the nervous system. Old and new technologies combined to dissect the emergence of patterns in a population of cells! 🐟🧪
This job is hard and absolute chaos mixed with emotional taxation sometimes, but all in all, this is where I want to be. I am thankful to the people who have helped me make this place my scientific home 🏡 🩸 🧪
Once a microscopist, always a microscopist 🔬 ♥️
Happy 4th birthday, Termini Lab! So grateful that I get to work with this outstanding group of scientists every day to explore the cool and complex underworkings of hematopoiesis. We are another year older, smarter, and stronger! ❤️🐁🩸☢️🍭🎂
We at the CCEH are working to centralize hematology datasets & analysis resources (scRNAseq, proteomics data, code, etc) for the benign hematology research community 🩸📊💻
Know of any resources we should include? Please help by submitting the info here: forms.office.com/r/eXUvFqBBjY
This work highlights the need to continue to study off-target effects that may exist in even the most exquisitely targeted forms of radiation delivery, like RIT. We are in an era of exceptional targeting, but the the microenvironment is clearly still sensitive to the impact 🩸 ☢️ 🦴
Excited to share recent work from our lab in @bloodjournal.bsky.social #BloodAdvances! We studied the impact of CD45-targeted radioimmunotherapy (RIT) on the bone marrow vascular niche. Turns out the vasculature is majorly disrupted by hematopoietic targeted RIT ☢️🩸
