30 or so live marine inverts and algae. 9000 steps. And one visit from Dr. Henderson, our university President. A successful invert lab for my marine biology class.
As a graduate of Texas A&M, I have been horrified by these policies and the intrusion of politics into what a professional and subject matter expert can teach in class.

I had three students present at the Benthic ecology meeting. 2 undergrads, 1 grad student giving their first oral presentations. To say they were nervous would be an understatement, but they all did amazing!
Back to the Bayou for more SAV suction sampling. I’m officially a Louisiana scientist now because I can now put it a paper “ only 2 of 3 replicates were collected at this site due to a very curious gator who would not leave”
