Kinda funny that we went from a 40+ year span of ship based air defence seldom being used, and almost never in an anti-AShM role to now being regularly stressed tested on an almost daily basis for 2+ years

one legit bright spot for the u.s. in the iran conflict is that its shipborne anti-missile systems seem to work extremely well, with (afaik) a 100% success rate albeit mostly against last-generation anti-ship missiles and shahed-type cruise missiles
