If this last week has proven anything to me, putting a microphone in front of a celebrity expecting something enlightening is a fool’s errand.
It’s sad to see so many powerful people not just lack depth but empathy as well.
There is so much in this world that’s disappointing, but this headline doesn’t even touch on the horrid video of him laughing & speaking ill of teachers.
The world is on fire with truly horrid people making it worse; but this is what broke me this week.
Shame on Marcelo for laughing along.

Sierra Ferrell last night in Chicago was a much needed balm. Her country flavored set was joyous with the performer reminding us to not to be afraid of the best of life & never to forget our marginalized communities.
